Description from artist regarding their vision of Peace: From ancient times the lotus has been a divine symbol for Enlightenment. The seed starts out in the mud at the bottom of a pond and keeps growing towards the light. Its unfolding petals suggest the expansion of the soul. By the time it blooms it is pure, clean and perfect. I believe that Peace is the result of growth and enlightenment.
