Description from the artist regarding their vision of peace:
"Contemplation in Orange", relates to inner peace, and the battle we face everyday as we step out into the World. When creating the painting I wanting to present two totally opposite color representation of time and space. I chose orange because it is a color of danger, a color of intensity that can wilt an individual if they are unprepared. Spatial circle are added to create depth within the painting, and the illusion of movement. I chose the tranquil color of blue to represent Humanity. Blue is the one primary color that can be used to express all emotions. Blue can be as soft as cloud, or as majestic as a crashing wave. The pastoral scene of mountains and flowers represent the inner commitment to stand strong in the face of diversity. Together these are the elements we face each day as we move forward in the world toward inner peace.
